I downloaded an app (xivlauncher) and when I open it it causes my whole computer to “freeze”, I have figured out since then that it seems to simulate the alt key being held, since I had it bound to moving and resizing windows which it did and then stopped when I changed the key binding. Is there a way to fix this? I have contacted the developers and they haven’t responded yet, but I was thinking that this might be something I could fix myself if I knew how to. Does anyone know a way around this? I’m not sure what to do and where to look.
Also the alt key doesn’t need to be used in the app, plus in keytest it does not show the key being held, this “alt key being held” effect only happens when I open that specific app.
