I can’t get the ubuntu desktop to load past command line. Now it doesn’t even recognize startx
I’ve tried running everything I can think of:
sudo apt-get install && sudo apt-get upgrade -f
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get autoremove
On basically everything I’m getting “Failed to fetch” errors from various links. I don’t even know if there’s a valid network connection but I am on ethernet. No idea what I could have done. Before rebooting I was unable to launch terminal and my textedit application also disappeared. Before this whole reboot to bricked scenario, I was having issues with python3 and other packages not updating properly.

there are a ton more errors just like this after I ran sudo apt-get upgrade -f
