I have Ubuntu.
Just tried downloading and installing VirtualBox. It seems like everything I tried just generated a humongous number of error codes.
Tried the commands given by the website. They included it in a literal textbook worth of stuff. Didn’t work after 20 minutes of searching to find the instructions.
I tried looking for instructions. Nothing at all helped and everyone is talking about such high level things I’ve got no idea how their cross-application of deviant-meta-deta conscriptors set to install portuguese-driver-bits running QMTZ11s has anything to do with my stuff.
Then I tried just installing it using the file name. It gave me a list of dependency errors and files it says I needed (I think?) and now when I tried to download those it gave me a million ambiguous error codes and then asked me “are you root?”
When I said said “yes” it just started spamming “y” at me over and over.
No need to mock me.
Now I’m not even sure what I’ve broken.
I’m new to linux. But I’m curious. How does anyone ever get anything done? Feels like it always takes 95% of the race time to get the starting line.
Is there no install button?
